By accessing or using Universal ShortLink ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Permitted Use

You may use Universal ShortLink to shorten, share, and track URLs for lawful purposes. You agree to use the Service only for legitimate, legal, and ethical purposes.

3. Prohibited Content

You may NOT use Universal ShortLink to shorten URLs that contain or lead to:

  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious software
  • Phishing pages or credential harvesting sites
  • Illegal content (including CSAM — zero tolerance)
  • Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Spam, unsolicited advertising, or deceptive content
  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, or hate speech
  • Fraudulent schemes, scams, or deceptive practices
  • Pornographic content (unless operating an adult-only verified domain)

Violations will result in immediate account termination and link removal. We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

6. Link Moderation

We reserve the right to review, disable, or remove any shortened link at our sole discretion, particularly if we believe it violates these Terms, is reported by users, or poses a risk to our users or reputation.

7. Intellectual Property

The Universal ShortLink name, logo, and all service content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the URLs and content you submit.

8. Rate Limits & Fair Use

To ensure fair access for all users, we impose rate limits on link creation and API calls. Automated mass link creation without our explicit permission is prohibited. Excessive use that degrades service for others may result in account suspension.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

Universal ShortLink and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
